The Cottage

The cottage is situated in a quiet yet central part of Ingleton and comprises:

Inside

  • Centrally heated, all gas and electricity included Main bedroom
  • Large sunlit lounge with living flame gas fire & French windows onto patio/garden equipped with tv, dvd, books & games
  • Dining kitchen with washing machine, oven, fridge & microwave
  • 3 bedrooms:
    • 1 with double bed
    • 1 with twin beds
    • 1 with single bed
  • Beds made up for arrival, just bring towels
  • Bathroom with shower over the bath
  • Porch with cupboard for outdoor gear
  • For babies/toddlers, we can provide the following: travel cot, stair gate, high chair, pushchair, plastic utensils and toys. See the Children page for further details.

  • Open garden at front
  • Lockable bike storage
  • Parking for up to 2 cars
  • Behind the house is the village cricket ground & pavillion/football pitch
  • Close by is Curlew Crafts, a lovely café/craft shop which serves food all day including breakfast, for those mornings you would like a treat.

Within a short walk of the cottage are the following:

  • Greengrocers/bakers/wholefoods, award-winning butchers, small supermarket
  • Old-fashioned sweetshop selling delicious icecreams alongside the jars of sweets
  • Climbing/caving/outdoor shops and the Ingleton Climbing Wall
  • Several good cafes, restaurants and craft shops including Inglesport Cafe - walker, child & cake lover friendly
  • Many good walks including Ingleborough itself plus stunning bike rides
  • Fantastic children's playground and seasonal heated open air swimming pool
  • Fish & chips (tastes great eaten by the river after an evening swim)
  • And, of course, the celebrated Ingleton Waterfalls Walk

bedroomLocated exactly one mile away is Country Harvest, a food and gift emporium with loads of lovely produce including an award winning cheese counter and cafe (also offers excellent ready done meals.)
